One Month Victory String Continues
Manchester snatched a victory in the first leg of League Cup half-final against Hull City 2:0! With a nine games victory streak, Man Utd is finally starting to look on a team that everyone expects them to be. This month was a month to be remembered because there were only wins, and that didn’t happen for a long time in the red side of Manchester. Hull City was only one step closer to their second title chance for this season after winning an FA Community Shield against Leicester City In august. It would be fair to say that with first leg 2:0 win they are with one leg in the final.
Even though Manchester won this game, it wasn’t a shiny match from Jose Mourinho boys, but it was nice to see that they are starting to get that winning mentality that they lost in a few years back. Hull City was putting all of their cards on the defense, but they couldn’t hold on longer than 56′ min when Juan Mata managed to use the header from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and to score a goal. Nothing has changed after that goal because the team of Marco Silva tried to keep the small disadvantage however they can. But Fellaini scored a great header in the 87′ min to give a Manchester a chance to play a little bit more relaxed on the second leg.
