Manila Masters begins with a $250k prize pool
There may be no SEA Major this year, but Southeast Asia will have a chance to see some live top tier Dota at the newly announced The Manila Masters May 26-28.
The tournament will be the first in a new series from ESL and Mineski-Events Team known as The Masters. So far, details are scarce and we don’t know to much. There will be eight total teams competing at the LAN event, with one direct invite so far reserved for Evil Geniuses, and the prize pool will be $250,000 USD as you know.
The Mall of Asia Arena is already a very familiar for Dota 2 fans as it has played host to both The Manila Major and ESL One Manila in 2016. On the official event website in which you can see that they say that they will have “exclusive merchandise” on sale at the venue.
